We traveled to Ann Arbor for Thanksgiving and conveniently on the way (Cleveland, Ohio) is the restored home from the movie “A Christmas Story.” This was probably more for me than Seth and the kids but I have always been a huge fan of the movie and they have done a great job with the house (and museum and gift shop across the street). The movie wasn’t actually filmed in the home (just the outside was used) but when they restored it they tried to make it match the movie and they used all period pieces. We took a tour and I loved that everything in the house was designed to be touched so the kids got to play around with the bb gun, soap, bowling ball, etc. That’s a big check off my bucket list.
Our driving conditions through Pennsylvania were not the best but we made it!
You’ll shoot your eye out!
You might be surprised how many bite marks were on the soap.
