On Saturday, December 1st Charlie was baptized and confirmed by his Dad into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a wonderful baptism and we felt very blessed to see so many people we love come and support Charlie!
Grandma and Grandpa Thacker, Lucinda and the Brown family flew all the way from Utah to be with us.

Grandpa Thacker gave a talk on baptism and Uncle Mike talked about the Holy Ghost. He used a mouse trap in his talk and the analogy is still being talked about.

After the baptism we walked over to the DC Visitors center to see the Christmas lights and temple.
We are all so proud of Charlie and his choice to be baptized and follow Jesus Christ.
I love Charlie's baptism announcement. I love the wording "chosen". We talked about that in RS yesterday, how it is our choice- the Lord doesn't force us, but invites us and we show our commitment to him by choosing. So sad we couldn't be there to celebrate with you.
