Welcome to our "new blog." We have officially moved to Maryland and having more than one bathroom is truly as wonderful as we all imagined. We are also eager to get going on our list of "must sees" while we are living so close to our nations capital. Seth is working at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda for 3-5 years so we have time to do it all. We love staying connected with family and friends through blogging so thanks for stopping by!

Take-your-child-to-work-day was another huge success. Matthew was just happy to not be sick and take part this year. The part about wearing badges and riding the metro was almost enough excitement in itself.

I have been taking part in a few research studies at the NIH. This escalator from the metro up to the medical center makes me nervous. I now try to walk up it without stopping to add to my morning exercise.

These two cuties somehow convinced me to buy them Sam’s club pizza. And, yes, they easily ate their entire slices!

My darling friend Andrea Gardner (and hairdresser) moved into a beautiful renovated home. We were so happy for her and the beginning of this new chapter in her life so we through her a house warming party. These pictures were taken after everybody left because it was a FULL house. It makes complete sense because everybody LOVES their hairdresser and Andrea is awesome besides that!

  1. I totally get the elevator thing! Every Tues/Thurs I make myself walk up Wheaton's. It gets me panting for sure.
